12:38 p.m.

I’ve been sick for a few days now, but I finally feel better today. I started getting a headache on Sunday, and by two o’ clock on Monday morning, it was a full blown migraine.

I slept most of the day on Monday. On Monday and Tuesday night, I had an earache in both ears. I spent most of Tuesday trying to ignore the fact that I was awake.

Yesterday is when I started to get better. I went out for a walk/jog, and my head hurt less. I definitely learned not to go out in new athletic shoes before breaking them in, though. I’m sore enough today to enforce the lesson.

I am feeling mostly better today, though I do still have a bit of a headache and the previously mentioned soreness.

12:49 p.m.

I’m changing my exercise routine again. I feel that I jumped in too fast at the beginning, so I’m adjusting things before I have a chance to get discouraged.

I’m going to continue my walking/jogging and drop the rest for a little while. I’ll ride the stationary bicycle when the weather is too bad to go out.

Once I build up walking/jogging, I’ll add cycling back in followed by weights and then flexibility training. I have no idea what exercises to do for flexibility yet, but I have time to research and decide.

2:41 p.m.

It’s obvious that I’m still sore from yesterday, but I was able to complete my walking today. I made sure to wear my old shoes this time. Due to where I am in my schedule, I was supposed to be out for twenty five minutes. It was more like thirty or thirty five. I went around the walking trail and then I walked to M, crossed WO, walked back toward home, crossed WO again, and came through the woods back into the community. It’s so nice outside today that I took my morning snack outside.
