12:32 a.m.
Things are hectic here. I start school in twenty days, and there’s still so much left to do. I still have to buy books and get my student ID. I still have school supplies left to purchase, including a laptop. (My current laptop monitor is only connected to the base on one side. There are at least two cracks in the base; the left mouse button will either double click or simply not register at any given point; certain letters either don’t register or they stick. The laptop would be fine (not perfect, but fine) if it were just in another shell.) I still have to tour the MEC campus to make sure I know how to get to my classroom.
Robert and I have started the apartment perfection. We’re going to perfect the apartment one room at a time. We decided to start with the master restroom, so we chose the color theme (Autumn) and color set (brown, gold, orange, red, and a little green) and devised a beginning plan. We purchased a dark brown shower curtain to cover our clear liner. After we save the money for the next step, we’ll be a cafe tension rod and a skirt, or curtain, in a dark shade of red for the vanity. I understand that perfecting any given room could take months, even years, but finding the right stuff and not going broke or further into debt doing it is worth it.
I’m still studying my Welsh and trying to use it any chance I can. Verbally, anyway; the language is harder to spell than it is to speak.
I’m also studying a different book; it’s one that sits close to my religious and spiritual beliefs.
I’m working my way through another book. It’s the coaching book by Ms. Miedaner. I knew it was going to be slow; I just didn’t expect so many of my annoyances to require purchases to correct!
I’m crocheting an Autumn blanket for the master bedroom. I’m only a few lines in, but it’s extremely relaxing and therapeutic for me to work on.
And I’m so tired that I can’t even remember the rest right now. I can remember that I’ve been on the phone for several hours a week lately, that I’ve been having all kinds of headaches, cluster, migraine, and tension, and that I’ve been working so hard that I’m hunched from back pain by the time I go to bed.
Hey, the laundry’s not falling behind.
